EFFECTS OF TEACHING STYLES, TEACHING METHODS AND STUDENT ENGAGEMENT ON SUSTAINABILITY OF TEACHING AND MANAGEMENT IN SUZHOU FOREIGN LANGUAGE SCHOOLS, CHINA

With the development of current education, English becomes a normal communication tool for each citizen. Therefore, every English teacher has responsibility to improve pupils’ English and establish an excellent foundation of English. However, in contemporary education system, teachers are still encountering challenges and issues. For one thing, they do not know the effective teaching styles. For another thing, teachers are deficient in teaching methods, student engagement on sustainability of teaching and management. The author integrated social constructivism and subjective model of education management into this research to tackle the issues that teacher faced. In addition, the researcher selected Suzhou Foreign Language Schools, and adopted mixed method to analyze the data and established a training model that can be used to create sustainability in teaching in Suzhou Foreign Language school.
