ONLINE EXAMINATION SYSTEM FOR HIGHER-EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Abstract

After Covid 19 was declared a world pandemic, social distancing was implemented faster before many institutions even had time to prepare themselves. This meant that online schooling was to replace all the physical classes and examinations and the main biggest concern about that would be plagiarism during the final examinations. Due to the needs of adapting technological advancements to every system, online examinations began to be practiced way before covid hit, in 2012 that was online examination practices and future directions. This paper will be focusing on a single institution, INTI International University. Researching on the students and the lecturers on the current online examination system, the impacts of sudden change from traditional examination system to modern online examination system and proposed solution for improvement in the current online examination system. This paper will also highlight ways in which online examination problems can be solved.
