A STUDY ON TOURIST INTENTION TO VISIT MIRI

The tourism industry is recognized asthe third highest Gross National Income(GNI)contributor in Malaysia and is one of the national economic sources inthewhole of Malaysia. However, Miri tourism was facingthe numberoftourists droppedsince2015. The objectives of this research are to investigate the key factors that influence towards tourist’s visit intention in Miri and determine therelationship between accessibility, infrastructural, tourism attraction, perceived value and service quality ofthe tourist’s visit intention in Miri. Therefore, the government needs to understand the detail of the problem and undertake appropriate action to overcome this problem to enhancethe tourist’s visit intention in Miri. This report research wascollected through online and hardcopysurveys to get information and data collection.
