Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic has led considerable degree of fear, worry, and concern with uncertainties. Over large population globally are mandated to stay at home, thus resulting overexposure to social media, which is reported around 2 hours and 24 minutes and population started to perceive mental health issues. Hence, the aim of this research is to find a correlation between social media exposure and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, to identify activities on social media that may exacerbate the users’ mental health conditions and to point out the occurrence of mental health comorbidity through the evaluation of the correlation among mental health issues, through quantitative data analysis.
