Abstract

Food is the third most important thing for living beings to provide energy and development, maintain life, or stimulate growth after air and water. Food plays an important role in the promotion of health and disease prevention. One of the integral reasons behind the increasing number of restaurants in Bangladesh is that it’s deemed to be quite profitable. Current systems lack the required versatility, relevance, speed and efficiency to cope with the changing IR 4.0 industrial needs. This research presents a fast, efficient and user-friendly system that can food order and receive in real time. The proposed system can be used in smartphone, website. In this study, a quantitative method was applied as the research method. Close ended survey were conducted to gather the user requirements and find out the existing lacking. The findings from the survey proved features like food order and delivery are not that much user friendly. These models are processed by a cloud-based restaurant business model. The result of this computation gives an output of a real time food ordering system. The proposed system is for food business who are using online platform for selling foods. It uses a real-time food ordering and delivering system. The proposed system was improvised as result of the author’s increased the interest of IT business with a new concept of ‘Cloud based Restaurant’ business model. The author wanted to implement new business model for the restaurant business. The author investigates previous legacy system to find out the missing requirements.
