Abstract

Nowadays more and more managers begin to turn their attention to the importance of employee initiative, so employees are not only expected to accomplish their own responsible tasks in a very excellent fashion, but also should be capable of contributing good ideas and exerting efforts for the innovation and development of companies. Voice behavior is an outward manifestation of the initiative of employees, and these positive views and opinions given by employees can contribute to the promotion of organizations development and innovation. Some existing correlational studies find that leadership style is a very important factor affecting employee voice. This paper attempts to give a study on the influence of transformational leadership and employee voice behavior in the SMEs in context of Chinese culture.

Based on the theoretical review of transformational leadership, employee voice behavior, and social exchange, this paper distributes 400 questionnaires and uses descriptive analysis methods to propose the influence hypothesis of transformational leadership on employee voice behavior. The sample data was collected through questionnaire survey, and SPSS data statistics software was used to verify the hypothesis, to ensure the reliability and accuracy of this research.
