The Employee Job Stress, Self-efficacy and Job Performance in JiangSu, China

Abstract

Purpose
In the increasingly fierce social competition today, people's job stress has reached an unprecedented height. Job stress caused by a series of individual physical, psychological and behavioral results, has become an important factor affecting organizational
performance. Research on the issue of employee's job stress has important practical significance. At the same time, taking into account the self-efficacy, job stress and job performance have a very close relationship, the employee self-efficacy variables into
job stress and job performance research framework, research and analysis of the relationship between the three.

Design, Methodology and Approach
Based on the theoretical research in previous literatures, as well as previous work experience and observation, then this study put forward five hypotheses. In order to test these hypotheses, refer to the relevant literature, design and issue the questionnaire,
sample extraction, strict inspection of the survey data, and then after correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Finally, the hypotheses were presented for empirical testing.

Findings
The paper draws the following conclusions: 1. Job stress have an influence on job performance; 2. Self-efficacy have an influence on job performance; 3. Job stress have an influence on self-efficacy. 4. Self-efficacy intervene or mediate the relationship between job stress and job performance.

This study is an empirical study of the relationship between employee job stress, selfefficacy and job performance, and has obtained good data support. From a practical point of view, the study can help enterprise managers, especially training workers to further understanding the important link between stress, learning and job performance, and further clarify helping employees achieve better job performance by improving their ability.
