This research thesis was conducted to examine the influence of the Total Quality Management (TQM) practices on the Performance in ALPS Electric Malaysia (ALMA). The research objective is to investigate on the TQM practices such as Management
Approach, Customer’s Interest, Process Management, New Technology and Employee Engagement influence on the performance in ALMA. Based on the previous studies observation, it has shown that TQM does have significant relationship towards the performance of the organization. On the research methodology, convenient sampling was deployed for this research as the executive personnel of ALMA is required. Total 100 questionnaire were distributed in ALMA and managed to receive replied questionnaire from 93 respondents.
Based on the statistical analysis, it has shown that all the five independent variables have statistically significant influence towards the dependent variable. In term of the reliability of the questionnaire, factor analysis has been conducted to verify the reliability
of the questionnaire. Based on the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy (KMO), it is shown that all the independent and dependent variables have achieved more than 0.6 value which is 0.782. The result was shown that the data collected was reliable and the sample size were adequate to perform further analysis for this research. Besides that, Pearson Correlation Coefficient is performed to evaluate the relationship between all the five independent variables and dependent variable. The result shows that all the variables have positive significant relationship. In addition, customer’s interest factor has the highest significant among the independent variables which was 0.703. Moreover, the Cronbach Alpha value for each variable have achieved more than 0.7 which shows that all the variables have significant inter-relationship. Based on the Linear Regression analysis, the Sig. (p-value) for all the independent variables achieved below 0.05 which shows that all the independent variables have significant relationships between the dependent variables. Thus, all the proposed hypothesis for this research shall be accepted. Furthermore, several recommendation and proposal for future research were suggested for further enhancement of this research.
