TURNOVER RATE FOR NEW GRADUATES IN CHINA

Abstract

New graduates as an important player in organization development will inject fresh blood into the company's development and they are also the reserve power of the company's future development. However, high turnover rate of new graduats already become a serious issue in China and it will bring bad effect for the organization and society.Thus, by analyzing the factors influencing turnover rate to understand this group of people and know how to keep these new graduates already become the major task for many organizations. Furthermore, there are four factors were included in this research which are compensation, working environment, coaching and develoment and job stress. This is the quantitive research and distribute 400 questionnaire to the new graduate in China. Meanwhile, the questionnair was adopted from Goh, Bee, Nga (2014), Lee, Yang and Li (2017) Lee, Huang and Zhao (2012), Omoikhudu (2017). The findings shown that compensation, working environment, coaching and develoment have significantly negative relationship with turnover rate of new graduates in China, wereas job stress has significantly positive relationship with turnover rate of new graduates in China. Thus, this research also gives recommendations fot the company to enhance these four area in order to keep the talents and decrease the turnover rate of new graduates in China.
