Shao Jihong (2015) investigated employees and some new energy vehicle owners who lived in Wuhan. The survey data showed that car brand preferences, sales price, and government subsidy policies are the main factors. Xu Zhaojian (2016) conducted a questionnaire survey on consumers in Jinan and surrounding areas, the analysis showed the main factors influencing consumers’ purchase of new energy vehicles includes battery life, maximum distance and the convenience of charging infrastructure. Axsen (2015) surveyed 508 families in California and found that consumers’ sense of social responsibility, environmental awareness, and willingness to support the country’s development are stronger, and they tend to choose new energy vehicles.
The research methodology is used correlation which is a quantitative survey to study the relationship between the independent and dependent variables in order to achieve the extent of the relationship whether the relationship exists. The data collection had been conducted through an onlinequestionnaire. From the research findings, the hypothesis that regarding the government subsidy will generate the purchasing intention of new energy vehicle had been rejected. The remaining environmental awareness and charging infrastructure have a significantrelationship with the purchase intention in China.
